Key West, Florida    December 16, 2018 – January 14, 2019

Key West, with its unique confluence of history, climate, natural beauty, and cultural diversity, was the ideal location to begin “Climate in America.” I worked with a wide range of subjects there, including authors and members of the creative community, people on the Naval Air Station, residents of MARC House group home, drag queens at Aqua, longtime residents or “conches,” retired and seasonal inhabitants, children, and even the mayor. Our conversations focused on the increasing threat of destruction from hurricanes, the experience of Hurricane Irma, and the role of real estate as well as the magic and allure of Key West.

Exhibition: 100 + 1 PORTRAITS IN KEY WEST,  April 4–25, 2019, XOJ Gallery, Key West, Florida
